That didn't take very long.
As I'm sure some of you have witnessed first hand, I have a lot of anger and frustration toward the state of preparedness of our country for homeland emergency relief. Somehow the leadership of our country and my hometown have forgotten to add 'the safety and well-being of our citizens' to the list of things to think about from time to time. The only concern they have is money and being re-elected. I can't help but be bitter at the degradation and decay of my beloved home town New Orleans.
Which brings me to this point: The 2006 Hurricane Season has already started. Are we ready?

i have a cousin who is still guest bedroom hopping.
The last thing the coast needs is another storm, but I keep thinking that the Gulf Coast is gonna be hit again.
